Rochester voters don’t have to wait until Election Day to make their voices heard. For the upcoming November 4, 2025 election, early voting offers a convenient and secure way to cast your ballot ahead of time—without the lines or the last-minute rush.
What Is Early Voting?
Early voting is a constitutionally required process for all statewide and federal elections in Michigan. It ensures that registered voters have nine consecutive days to vote before Election Day—starting on the second Saturday prior and ending the Sunday before. Thanks to additional approval from Rochester’s City Council, this option is also available for local elections.
Whether you’re planning a trip, juggling a busy work schedule, or simply prefer to vote on your own time, early voting provides flexibility while maintaining the same security and accuracy as voting on Election Day.
Where to Vote Early
For voters who live in the City of Rochester, early voting for the November election will be held at:
📍 Rochester Municipal Building – Council Chambers
400 Sixth Street
Rochester, MI 48307
⚠️ Important: Rochester Hills and Oakland Township voters will vote early at the Rochester Hills Public Library—but City of Rochester electors must vote at the Municipal Building. You cannot cast an early ballot at the library if you live in Rochester.
